Fastrack scoop new £1.2m contract to design and build a new classroom block at Oake and Bradford School in Taunton for Somerset County Council.
The works comprise the construction of a new classroom building providing five classrooms, toilets, offices and ancillary accommodation. External works comprise the demolition of a temporary class room building, new paving’s and play areas, car parking and the formation of a wildlife area.
The project will be designed to achieve a BREEAM rating of "Very Good". Some of the sustainable features include ground source heat pumps, rain water harvesting and heat recovery units.
