Elliott Fastrack have provided a four-storey building that will house a number of outpatient and diagnostic services including cardiology, audiology, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. Construction of the 2350 sq meter block took only 11 months from start to handover.
The building is constructed with a full steel frame to all floors. The ground floor has a concrete floor slab and there is permanent steel formwork with concrete to the upper floors. The external walls are constructed from timber frame panels that are lined internally with impact and fire-resistant linings. Externally, the building is clad with brickwork.
The building has glazed facades allowing natural light into the entrance stairway and reception areas on all floors.
